About me
Hello!
I am a first-generation Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. I began my professional journey with a deep interest in personal narratives individual experience, identity, and mental health. This curiosity, paired with a strong desire to support people in navigating both internal emotional processes and external stressors, continues to guide my clinical work.
I am particularly passionate in working with clients with OCD (and am trained in ERP therapy), individuals going through loss, and couples looking to gain increased connection.
Through my graduate training and early career experience, I have had the privilege of working with diverse clients across a wide range of settings. These experiences allowed me to deepen my clinical skills, clarify my values as a therapist, and better understand the types of work that feel most meaningful to me. Over time, this breadth of experience guided me toward a more focused expertise, helping me narrow my clinical lens and specialize in work that aligns with my passions and strengths as a clinician.
My practice is fully virtual (with the occasional cameo from my pup, Cleo), and I offer a variety of appointment times to make care as accessible as possible.
Approach to therapy
I believe therapy is most effective when the therapist and client work collaboratively. I aim to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, inclusive, and trauma informed space where you can explore and sit with the challenges you are facing. My work focuses on fostering connection—whether that is with your own body’s experience, your relationships, your values, or your sense of self.
I also recognize that therapy does not exist in a vacuum. Conversations about how systemic structures impact mental health are woven into our work and inform the lens I bring into the therapeutic space.
